Links policy
Our aim is to give visitors to mentalhealthcare.org.uk access to relevant, evidence-based information, resources and support.
Generally speaking, we link to country-wide organisations that can give families the help they are seeking or signpost them to local services rather than linking to organisations that work in a specific locality.
We link to sites that appear to be a useful resource for family members and friends of people who have psychosis.
We review these websites regularly, but mentalhealthcare.org.uk is not responsible for their content. The inclusion of a website on our ‘Other useful websites’ page or ‘Other useful websites’ section should not be interpreted as an endorsement of that site, now or in the future.
All inclusions are at the discretion of the web editor in consultation with the website’s steering group, which is made up of researchers and mental health professionals from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
We do not link to other sites in exchange for cash, services or other considerations.
We do not link to websites that charge visitors to view their contents unless the steering group decides otherwise.
We do not link to websites that require visitors to register to view their contents, unless the steering group decides otherwise.
We do not link to commercial sites, or sites that carry advertising.
Links should be reciprocal, though we understand this is not always possible or appropriate.
If you would like to be included in our ‘Other useful websites’ pages or sections, please email mhcfeedback.googlemail.org with details of your site.
